a day in the park

two months home

We have been home for now for two months. Ashley is 17 months old . She is very happy and

adjusting well. She loved the swing. This was taken last saturday on that beauitful 60 degree

weather in mid january. Mommy and Daddy had lots of fun with her. She makes us both smile

everyday . It is great to have a beauitful little girl.

Ashley had her first friend birthday party. It was Mikayla's 1st birthday ! Mikayla is also

from china. They both had a great time! Mikayla was trying to get Ashley's bells off the shoes.

Ashley loves this panda. It is part of the care bears. It is called poilte panda. It talks and says

please and thank you. As you can see she has lots of toys. Ashley plays with most of her toys

and puts them away. She is always smiling and having fun!

Ashley had a great time at the rainforest Cafe. All she did was point at the fish.
It is a great place to take kids keeps them busy while they eat.

Ashley in her room with her new cartoon friends. Winnie the Pooh and friends along with other characters. They were all hand drawn by daddy and painted by mommy. The other walls have more cartoon characters. Starting with old favorites like The Smurfs, Snoopy, Carebears, Yogi & Boo Boo, Scooby Doo, Andy Panda and of course Elmo (riding on a Fire Truck) .

Happy New Year ! Ashley is doing well, we have been home for a month .

She had a great christmas. Our house looks like Toys R' Us . She is very friendly to everyone.

Ashley is walking on her own now, and starting to feed herself with a spoon. Next, week we have

our 2nd month check up at the doctors. I know she gained some weight, she eats everything.

We are so happy to have her in our home. Ashley is a great baby!

two weeks

Hi! everyone, we have been home for two weeks now, everything is going great. Ashley has a little bit of an ear infection, but she is getting better. She is walking much better on her own now. And no more bottle . We have mastered the sippy cup. Now she is trying to feed herself .
Ashley is a very quick learner . Ashley is even friends with the our dog Flash. It took a couple of days, but now she is petting and feeding him. It is so amazing how much Ashley has changed in our first two weeks home. We will post more pictures after the holidays . We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a great New Year!

finally we are home

On Dec 1 ,2005 we finally landed at Newark Liberty International Airport with our new daughter .
We were glad to finally be home, we had a few family members there to greet us. Colleen's mom, her cousin Danielle (Hottie), Warren, Uncle Brian, Jen, and Aunt Jeanie. They were all crying well not all of them just the women. Ashley is doing well with one expection she has an inner ear infection, but it hasn't stopped her from smiling like always. Ashley had her first doctor's appointment on Monday Dec 5th she did just fine. No shots. Thank god! We are very tired still, but doing much better we are all recovering from our colds. Thanks to everyone for all your love and support.
