pool fun

Ashley finally got to go in the pool today, we were
in for about an hour. She was having a blast.
She can swim by herself with or with out a bubble
on it depends on her mood.
Most of the today was no bubble.
I guess the swim lessons are paying off.
The heat wave needs end soon.
It is way too hotfor this mommy.

Go Ashley Go

It was a hot weekend here in New Jersey ! It
was 90 degrees or higher. there was no breeze in
the air . we had a bbq on Saturday it was so hot.
I think i sweat ed 3 pounds off me. Mommy actually
got go in the pool Sunday night alone. It was refreshing
and relaxing. I am sure and Ashley i will be the pool
alot this week with the heat. i think we are going to use
or pool alot this year. we hope everyone stays cool .

miss tapper

This is Ashley's tap outfit, she loves tap,
she is the youngest one in the class and
knows the whole routine. Go Ashley!

a purple rose

This one of my rose bushes in front of my house.
It is small but has been blooming for 5 years now.
It is a very light purple. Purple is my favorite color.
I guess my dad passed his green thumb onto me,
everything is just coming up so pretty this year.
I Love It!

This weeknd we actually stayed home, and did
some family time together, the weather was perfect.
Saturday night it finally stopped raining so we
hung out in the yard. Ashley and her daddy do some
model clay fish . The clay is by crayola better than
play dough. Sunday we went to a local park and walked
and ashley her rode her 1.5 miles she was tired.
And of couse she went on the swings. It was so nice to
be relaxed and not have go anywhere, hopefully we have
more weekends like this weeknd. I forgot to add mommy
got to sleep this morning until 9:30 am it was great!

Ashley just loves playing board games. you do not
hear that to much anymore with kids in todays
world. she just started playing boggle jr.
First we do it the easy way she can see the picture
and look at the dice and they cover up the picture.
she was very proud she can spell some words .

ashley cannot wait to see the new movie Ku Fu Panda.
she isvery exictied to go see it. we will take her next
week for dinner and a movie. i saw th epreviews it looks
really funny and fun to watch. Jason was helping read
some of the books the other night! she was really into the story.
it almost has the same story line as the nija tutles.
we will see next week how it does in the movies.

reminds me everyday to water them .

memorial day weekend

Memeorial Day weekend was here and now it is over.
It was a beauitful weeknd for bbqs and being with
friends and family. and do not forget those who
served in the miltary and who are serving now.
We rememeber my dad today since he is a vet from
the navy, we went a put a flag on his grave and pinwheels.
Summertime now has start. hopefully it will be a
great summer! ashley been bed for an hour now. She
really had great weekend. This mommy is tired too .

My Goddaughter Molly turned 1 on thursday. wow! Time
went by fast! Today was her 1st birthday party . we all
went down to my friend's Jen's house for a nice party.
The weather was great and there was no trafficc on the
Garden state Parkway for a holiday weeknd! Molly enjoyied
her first piece of cake. ashley had fun too with other kids.
We had a great time .

starting to notice

Today at dinner ashley was telling us about her dance class. oneof her teachers is chinese . Jessica is 18. She said mommy Miss Jessica is chinese like me but she is different. I said how, her hair is long which is true and her is black, and she is taller. I said because she is older than you. ashley said ok, mommy i just want to be older like Miss Jessica. She is starting to notice where she is from . She always knew she is adopted, and we have always told since day one about adoption.. Now i know she is really starting to grow up! Jason and I were like wow! omg! She is really changing into a little girl! Also congrats to to our little dance for making
the Dance team, ashley will be competing next year around nj. Mommy better start
doing more nail clients! LOL!

rain rain go away

Another day of bad weather and we are stick in the house.
Ashley loves to draw and color so she wanted to make
her own birthday invites, he birthday is not for another
4 months but i thought i would be fun her do. She keeps telling
me she wants a Hanna Montana party,so i better start looking for
party favors and place to have it.
Hopefully the sun comes out tomorrow.

Happy Mother's Day to all the mommies, new mommies and
godmothers out there. Today we went point pleasant board
walk. We went wih Auntie Jen ,molly and Unlce Eric.
It was Auntie Jen's first Mother's day. Auntie Jen
is my best friend since high school and her daughter
molly is my godaughter, so it was a special day for both
of us. we took the girls on the rides and lunch. Wow!
it was cold and crowed. It Was a fun to be with geat friends.

BFF Best Friends Forever

Ashley had and Alexa had a playdate yesterday. They have
been friends since they have been two years old. They are
only a month apart and only live 10 minutes aways from each
other. Kim and Mike had us all over dinner . After dinner
the mommies made cookies with the girls. wow they had fun!
Their friendship will last a life time.
